What is PrestonPlayz?

PrestonPlayz is Preston Arsement's gaming channel, focused on Minecraft and Roblox challenges with deliberately family-friendly branding. He runs several channels covering gaming, real-life challenges and shorts.

Is PrestonPlayz appropriate for kids?

Language is clean and the channel markets itself as kid-safe, which is broadly accurate. What parents should know is the commercial intensity: constant merchandise promotion aimed directly at young viewers, high-energy pacing designed to hold attention, and a network of sibling channels that multiplies total watch time.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block PrestonPlayz with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for PrestonPlayz and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. PrestonPlayz disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. PrestonPlayz still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
