What is Vlad and Niki?

Vlad and Niki stars two brothers in heavily produced fantasy skits where toys come to life with CGI effects. Like its peers, it is dubbed globally and publishes across a network of channels.

Is Vlad and Niki appropriate for kids?

There is no inappropriate content in the videos. Parents flag the same cluster of characteristics as with other toy mega-channels: hyper-edited pacing, wall-to-wall toy marketing, and formulaic fantasy plots optimized by view data rather than by storytelling. Once watched, the recommendation feed fills with this genre almost completely.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block Vlad and Niki with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for Vlad and Niki and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. Vlad and Niki disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Vlad and Niki still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
