What is Blippi?

Blippi is a live-action educational character in an orange beanie and bow tie who explores excavators, playgrounds and museums for preschoolers. The brand now spans multiple actors, spin-off characters and a huge catalog.

Is Blippi appropriate for kids?

The videos are genuinely educational in intent and contain nothing objectionable. Two things parents commonly want to know: the character's creator made crude shock-comedy videos under a different name before Blippi existed, which resurface online periodically, and the switch between actors playing Blippi confuses some young fans. As with all preschool mega-channels, autoplay leads into a swamp of imitators.
