What is Ryan's World?

Ryan's World began as toy unboxing videos of Ryan Kaji at age three. It grew into a licensing empire spanning games, science experiments and a retail merchandise line carried in major stores.

Is Ryan's World appropriate for kids?

Content is clean and produced with kids in mind. The channel's defining characteristic is commercialization: it is effectively a storefront, and a consumer group's 2019 complaint to US regulators argued that ad content was not clearly distinguishable for preschool viewers. Parents who block it usually cite the constant product focus rather than anything inappropriate.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block Ryan's World with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for Ryan's World and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. Ryan's World disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Ryan's World still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
