What is Zhong?

Zhong is a Shorts-native creator producing staged pranks, skits and challenge clips at industrial volume. The content is engineered for the swipe feed and for very young viewers.

Is Zhong appropriate for kids?

There is no profanity, the concern is the formula: fake scenarios presented as real, sneaky-behavior plots played as funny, and dozens of near-identical uploads a week. Young kids take the staging at face value and the format crowds out slower content in the feed. Blocking cleans up Shorts noticeably because the volume is so high.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block Zhong with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for Zhong and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. Zhong disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Zhong still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
