What is Stokes Twins?

Alan and Alex Stokes make prank and challenge videos with a recurring cast of friends, optimized for Shorts and rapid consumption. Story lines are staged and heavily edited, with cliffhanger thumbnails.

Is Stokes Twins appropriate for kids?

The channel presents scripted pranks as if they were real, which younger viewers take at face value. In 2019 a staged bank robbery prank led to real criminal charges for the twins, which is the incident parents most often cite. Content is clean of profanity but leans on fake danger, fake conflict and shock setups for clicks.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block Stokes Twins with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for Stokes Twins and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. Stokes Twins disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Stokes Twins still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
