How to block Slogo on YouTube
What Slogo videos contain, the trio ecosystem around them, and how to block the channel for your child with Vidward.
What is Slogo?
Slogo is Josh Temple's gaming channel, one third of the trio with Jelly and Crainer, covering GTA, Minecraft and challenge maps. The format is fast, loud and aimed squarely at kids.
Is Slogo appropriate for kids?
Content is clean and profanity-free. The considerations are the same as the rest of the trio: formulaic episodes engineered for autoplay chains, exaggerated thumbnails, and cross-promotion that funnels kids from one trio channel to the next. Blocking one channel of the trio usually means wanting all three.
Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.
Block Slogo with Vidward
- 1Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
- 2Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
- 3Open your child's Filters tab, search for Slogo and block the channel.
- 4Done. Slogo disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.
Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?
Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Slogo still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
