What is FaZe Rug?
FaZe Rug is Brian Awadis, a FaZe Clan member whose channel moved from pranks to high-production vlogs. Today the mix is scare experiments, challenges and luxury content on a near-daily schedule.
Is FaZe Rug appropriate for kids?
Language is mild to moderate and the content stays this side of explicit. The recurring characteristics are thumbnail fear-bait, haunted and 3am formats aimed at younger viewers, staged scares presented as real, and heavy materialism. It is engineered virality that skews younger than the FaZe brand suggests.
Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.
Block FaZe Rug with Vidward
- 1Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
- 2Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
- 3Open your child's Filters tab, search for FaZe Rug and block the channel.
- 4Done. FaZe Rug disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.
Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?
Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. FaZe Rug still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
