What is Dude Perfect?

Dude Perfect is five friends making trick shots, sports battles and stunt spectaculars. It is one of the biggest and most deliberately family-friendly channels on YouTube.

Is Dude Perfect appropriate for kids?

Content is clean, positive and profanity-free, and the group markets itself on exactly that. For most families the only considerations are volume and merchandising, long compilations that eat afternoons and a strong product push. It appears in this list because plenty of parents manage total screen time, not because of content concerns.

Whether that fits your child is your call. If you decide to block the channel, here is how.

Block Dude Perfect with Vidward

  1. 1
Create your free Vidward account. The trial runs 7 days with no credit card.
  2. 2
Add your child in the dashboard and link their computer by typing the one-time code into the Vidward extension in their browser.
  3. 3
Open your child's Filters tab, search for Dude Perfect and block the channel.
  4. 4
Done. Dude Perfect disappears from search, the home feed, recommendations and direct links in their browser, and every change you make syncs to their device.

Does YouTube have a built-in way to block a channel?

Not really. YouTube's "Don't recommend channel" option only trims the home feed. Dude Perfect still shows up in search results, in Shorts and through direct links, and your child can undo the setting in two clicks. Restricted Mode filters some mature content but cannot target a specific channel. That gap is exactly what Vidward covers.
